Birds On The Edge of Extinction [1]

Birds rule the air, but hundreds of different species have seen a population decline so frightening, experts say they could vanish off the face of the earth at anytime.

As of 2012, more than 1300 bird species are facing extinction [2], according to BirdLife International. The World's Rarest Birds, a new book, features photos of 800 of those birds.
