Russell Brand, World’s Greatest Thinker, Summons a Global Revolution [1]

When last we heard from Brand, he was at the GQ awards, calling out Hugo Boss [2] for creating uniforms for the Nazis. Now he’s taking on the global political system in his role as guest editor [3] of The New Statesman and as a guest on the BBC.

 

 

Of course, the real question is: why doesn’t the US have a series of articulate celebrities? Regardless of what Brand is saying, he has a coherent answer for every different question, which is a lot more than we can say for the people we choose to put on TV. Imagine if Daniel Tosh or Dane Cook were asked to edit an issue of Dissent. Actually…don’t.
