Being Mindful of Spiritual Materialism

Do you consider yourself to be a spiritual person? Why have you chosen a spiritual path? What do you hope to gain by living your life in a spiritual manner; and is doing so going to make you a better person?

Those who are sincere in their aspiration to walk the spiritual path often encounter a great deal of confusion, misunderstanding and expectation, so it’s necessary to be aware of some of the dangers. Spirituality is very subtle process; and it’s easy to get sidetracked, which leads to a distorted, ego-centered version of spirituality.

We often deceive ourselves into thinking we are developing spiritually, when instead we are only strengthening our ego through these spiritual techniques.

This fundamental distortion is called Spiritual Materialism. It is the belief that by becoming spiritual you will receive some kind of reward, or blessing. Another is to believe that you will become a better person. In both cases, when we can achieve an awakened state of mind, we let go of all the obstructions and garbage we’ve been taught. Then we can see that many of the beliefs we have are not necessarily true.

          The awakening process is not about gaining more knowledge. Instead it’s about loving ourselves and releasing the past; and cutting through all of the clutter we have accumulated throughout our lives. In this “Age of Information” we live in, our minds are much too crowded, mostly with ego, and with constant chatter.  

You may think that you are spiritual because you live on a small budget, or eat vegetarian meals; but the mind is still saying, “I want, I want, I want.”

Let’s take a look at what the 11:11 Encoded Frequency brings to the day first.

Most all are now familiar with the 11-11 Frequency Encoded “Wake-Up” call we as a Collective Consciousness set into place before descending into dense reality realms. We did this to be of assistance to us in our Collective Spiritual Re-Awakening. Basically this is an alarm clock we set before we descended into the denser realms of matter.

For those who are regular readers of the Metatronic Numerology Frequency Reports, you will most likely remember that I have shared what the Q4 stated about this 11:11 Encoded Alarm Clock.

They told us that the 11:11 Frequency Portal of the New Mayan Calendar Round Reality now stands continuously open, and we really no longer need to put time and energy into raising frequency to enable it to remain open because we have accomplished that.

Take a look at the world around you. Realize that you are standing on Earth, a planet in a galaxy Earth humans call The Milky Way. It is one of many galaxies, and it exists in one of many universes within the Multiverse of All That Is. Put a hand on your arm now and feel your skin, and visualize the billions of tiny cells that make up your body. Visualize the atoms within those cells. Visualize the minute electrons within those atoms, and see the energy inside those electrons. This is the same energy that created you. It is the same energy that created the Multiverse and the very Earth you currently are standing on. You are this energy. It is the powerful Universal Source energy of All That Is. You are this energy. Read that again: YOU ARE THIS ENERGY!

Knowing this, could you still doubt your true potential?

You have been conditioned to believe that you are separate from your Source and therefore whatever you need will be found outside of yourself.

You have been conditioned to believe that you are small and power-less.

You have been conditioned to believe that you are a victim.

You have even been conditioned to believe that suffering is part and parcel of your human existence.

All of these things are false teachings that have been brought down through many eons of time. These teachings have not been entirely to your detriment, they have been to your benefit also, because they helped you to experience everything you are not. But it is time now for you to know your true self once more. It is time for you to take back your power and begin to realize your potential.

In 1990 my thyroid became ‘hyper-active’ and I was advised by a specialist doctor to have radio active iodine treatment which he said would help restore it to balance. It was either this treatment or surgery, and I’m allergic to surgery! So I opted for the treatment instead. As it turned out, my specialist doctor miscalculated the dosage of the radio active iodine and I was given too much which destroyed the normal function of my thyroid. I was told that I would have to take chronic meds for the rest of my life. I was still religiously taking the meds when 22 years later Archangel Michael became a conscious part of my life. One day I was guided by him to take less of the meds. He told me that my thyroid had started to function again and that soon I would not need to take the meds at all! I asked him how can that be? He told me that he had protected a small part of my thyroid the day I’d had the radio active iodine and this tiny part had started functioning again. He said that it would grow larger and eventually become 100% fully functional. He said he would guide me as to how to continue to reduce my meds. I was amazed! Sure enough, 3 months later, I no longer needed my meds. This was the first time I’d realized how active he had been in my life without me even knowing it.

The "resistance" is ignorance.  This term should not be interpreted as a disparaging description, but merely a fact.  There are various reasons for resistance, but conservatism is the main reason.  In general, people just don't like change, and "resistance to change" is the dictionary's meaning of conservatism.  Again, this is not meant to put down anyone in particular.  The trait just dominates the human being in general.  But that is changing.

Think of anything that is considered "normal" nowadays and trace its history.  Human resistance has always played a part before it became "the way everybody does it"..  It is the way of evolution.  Discovering a better way works right away, but getting others to accept it is rarely easy.

Currently, the world is in the midst of a great "Shift" which is transforming human society into something quite foreign to the general perception.  This will completely erase all things that cause mankind pain and suffering.  Do you believe this?  If so, you are as involved as is this author, busily spreading the news at every opportunity, This is delicate and great patience is required.  You may not be sure because everything looks like misery is on the increase or you may be completely opposed to such a notion.  None of them matter as the Universe needs no help. 

Have you heard of "the hundreth monkey" effect?  Humans are not monkeys of course, but this experiment in this article, exemplifies the results in both communities, for this is how the Shift is taking place.
