Another Holly update: So good news, her numbers went way down again from the IV treatment, affirming the vet’s belief that her kidneys just needed a little more support. She’s home for the weekend getting subcutaneous treatment twice a day (thank God my mother-in-law is a nurse!) and will have her numbers rechecked on Monday. She’s much brighter and eating and acting much more like herself, which is such a relief. Hopefully the extra treatment is all she needed and her kidneys will be able to start to do their job on their own this week.
