Conceit, arrogance and egotism are the essentials of patriotism. Let me illustrate. Patriotism assumes that our globe is divided into little spots, each one surrounded by an iron gate. Those who have had the fortune of being born on some particular spot consider themselves nobler, better, grander, more intelligent than those living beings inhabiting any other spot. It is, therefore, the duty of everyone living on that chosen spot to fight, kill and die in the attempt to impose his superiority upon all the others.

Finding happiness that lasts seems to be a challenge for most people. If only they knew where to look! Finding happiness in the world of form can not exist without finding unhappiness in it. Going within takes you beyond this duality.

If Some Thing Makes You Happy, It Has The Power To Make You Miserable

This is not being pessimistic. It is true. It does not mean that you can not be happy, but rather that permanent happiness must come from a different place.

Most of us seem to go through life completely dependent on what is happening around us for our own inner peace or happiness. It is as if what goes on in our lives controls our inner state of mental or emotional wellbeing.

Every year in late April Earth passes through the dusty tail of Comet Thatcher (C/1861 G1), and the encounter causes a meteor shower--the Lyrids. This year the shower peaks on Tuesday, April 22nd. Forecasters expect 10 to 20 meteors per hour, although outbursts as high as 100 meteors per hour are possible.

When I got home from the hospital in January I put up a sign for others to be aware and responsible for their presence, “Please be mindful of the energy you bring into my space.”  There is a vastness of levels to awareness and consciousness.  I find that most people walk around in oblivion (me included).  Unfortunately I have grown hypersensitive to energy and have to remind myself that not everyone knows the crap they carry with them.  This force is the influential factor to who and what we are in this world.  The more aware you are of your emotions the easier you can navigate through this life.

As I rest during the night I witness a few levels of awareness.  The first one is self-awareness:  my body on the bed, breathing, discomfort, cold, achy, tired, relaxed, etc.  The second one is the awareness of my surroundings:  cars driving by, temperature in the room, my mate’s snores, cats running outside the room, a dog barking in the distance, etc.  The third awareness is the one that takes me past the veil of what we see and feel as “real.”  This is the one that most people cannot understand and have little respect for its sensitivity.  This is the “other realm.”  In this awareness I feel the movement of spirits or energy in the room, I hear breathing and whispers, I can see orbs, I can see auras and shapes, I receive messages, etc.

In this esoteric realm the awareness seems to be disregarded by most.  The energy and mood brought into others’ spaces is magnified.  Whatever your situation, the external world will latch onto it.  I have been to places that I immediately have to leave because the energy is so heavy.  My third form of awareness is not always “on” but my sensitivity is still picking it up.  I can’t imagine the damage I must’ve made in others’ spaces when I was in chaos, turmoil, excited or depressed.  I am responsible for those emotions and it is irresponsible to carry them outside of my space.  Don’t get me wrong, we all have bad days but it is up to us to be aware of what we are carrying.  No one else needs our extra baggage!

Take the risk of letting go of all that you’re clinging to and dare to face the fear that is driving you. Your fear will then pass through you and it will be all over. You will no longer struggle! You will have Peace.

Let go of conditions.
Let go of expectations.
Let go of attachments to Earthly things.

Let go and find the Peace that God has promised you. Set down the things you are clinging to so that you may embrace Peace.

While fundraising is something we try to do as little as possible, we've learned that we don't get quite enough in donations to support ourselves if we don't ask for them specifically. We're currently at $620 out of our $3,000 monthly goal, and since we're about two thirds of the way through the month, we've got some catching up to do.

We are completely reader supported, your donations pay for our server costs, as well as things like rent and food expenses. This allows us to make running the Galactic Free Press into our daily "job" and we're very blessed by this opportunity to help spread Higher Consciousness.

While there's tons of websites that post what's popular, and tell people what they want to hear, that's not our focus at all. We recently stopped posting the kind of messages that keep promising an "ascension" or "the event" that's coming right around the corner, despite the fact that those were some of the most popular things we used to post. Our site is not about hoping for something to happen and then waiting. Our site is about real changes that you can create for yourself right Now! Predictions are worthless without people actively creating change. The hundreds of failed channeled predictions should illustrate that nicely. We'd much rather see people come together to participate in a shared vision that they all have a part in than just having faith in some external channeling. It's people collectively standing up that's always lead to the advances in humanity's consciousness.

Growth comes from challenging what you believe, it doesn't come through reinforcing what you already believe. Our site is here to offer new and different perspectives, even if they frighten, anger or disturb people. Those kinds of emotions are wonderful pointers to personal fears and insecurities, the kinds of things that hold you back the most. You don't have to agree with everything we share though, we don't want dumb followers who automatically believe everything we say. We're here to assist people in stepping into the own Divine Self and discovering their own creative potential.
