Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras says his debt-ridden country has reached an agreement with its international creditors on a new series of austerity measures that are necessary to release fresh bailout loans.

"Today we concluded the negotiation on the measures and the budget," said Samaras in a statement on Tuesday.
He added that the government needs the parliament’s approval of a new round cuts, saying, "If this deal is approved and the budget is voted, Greece will stay in the euro and exit the crisis."
