Merry Christmas! Yes, I'm aware that this date has absolutely nothing to do with the historic birth of the one many know as Jesus of Nazareth or Yeshua ben Joseph. It does have something to do with the birth of the Sun coming forth from the womb of the Winter Solstice. This year, 2012, it likely has something to do with crossing the Galactic plane and bringing us into a New Age, the Age of Aquarius. Regardless of the history or the meaning, I choose to honor Christ, the Divine Essence in everyone. It's beyond religion and likely beyond what most humans have ever known or realized. This is the time for Christ to be born consciously in all of us.

It has long been known that volcanic activity can cause short-term variations in climate. Now, researchers at the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel (Germany), together with colleagues from Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA) have found evidence that the reverse process also occurs: Climate affects volcanic activity. Their study is now online in the international journal "Geology".
In 1991, it was a disaster for the villages nearby the erupting Philippine volcano Pinatubo. But the effects were felt even as far away as Europe. The volcano threw up many tons of ash and other particles into the atmosphere causing less sunlight than usual to reach the Earth's surface. For the first few years after the eruption, global temperatures dropped by half a degree. In general, volcanic eruptions can have a strong short-term impact on climate.

When reconnected your guide sometimes have ideas or jobs for you. So two weeks ago it send me to the candles in the supermarket and places with lower priced candles. Allright so i buy some to experience the deeper reason. Now the last days are somewhat dark, foggy and clouded that i can have breakfast or read a book in the bathtub with candlelight.

Western Antarctica has warmed unexpectedly fast over the last five decades, weather records confirm, adding to sea-level rise concerns in a warming world.
Temperatures in West Antarctica have increased at a rate nearly twice as large as the global average, a 4.3 degree Fahrenheit increase since 1958, conclude meteorologists in the journal, Nature Geoscience, out Sunday. The finding adds Western Antarctica to the list of hot spots most affected by global warming, the century-long increase in global average temperatures largely driven by greenhouse gas emissions from burning oil, gas and coal.

The Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary opened 14 years ago to house seven unwanted chimpanzees
As most people tuck into their Christmas dinner, Jan and Graham Garen will be too busy to feast on turkey - they will be feeding around 80 hungry apes and monkeys.
Christmas Day will be business as usual for the husband and wife team who 14 years ago took in seven chimpanzees that nobody wanted when the Penscynor Wildlife Park near Neath closed.
As a teacher and engineer they had no experience of looking after primates, but they could not bear the thought of the chimps being shot, which would have been their fate.

According to latest Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) report, Tropical Cyclone 04A is located approximately 280 nm south of Cape Guardafui, Somalia, and is moving southwestward at 12 knots over the past six hours. Animated multispectral satellite imagery shows a fully exposed low-level circulation center (LLCC) with a lack of deep convection. Dry continental air is being pulled into the system.

One couple is paying tribute to the amazing work of therapy and service dogs in a 2013 calendar.
Titled 'Rescued Heroes,' the calendar features 11 dogs who were rescued -- via adoption or by sheer luck -- and now work as therapy dogs, providing service and comfort to people in need. On the cover is Fitz, a service dog for an Iraq veteran with PTSD.
"We were so impressed with the way service dogs can help veterans manage their 'invisible wounds' and get their lives back," creator Lynn Sansale told The Huffington Post.

A tornado struck just outside downtown Mobile, Alabama on December 25th, damaging buildings and knocking out power to more than 20-thousand people.
The tornado touched down five different times, just missing the hospital district.

MOBILE, Ala. — Twisters hopscotched across the Deep South, and, along with brutal, straight-line winds, knocked down countless trees, blew the roofs off homes and left many Christmas celebrations in the dark. Holiday travelers in the nation's much colder midsection battled treacherous driving conditions from freezing rain and blizzard conditions from the same fast-moving storms.
As predicted, conditions were volatile throughout the day and into the night with tornado warnings still out for some parts of Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The storms were blamed for three deaths, several injuries, and left homes from Louisiana to Alabama damaged.

An Oklahoma state trooper told KOCO News there was a series of about 10 collisions on the interstate near I-35 a little before 3 a.m. CT Tuesday as overnight drizzle turned to freezing rain in the area.

Ya know Nancy, I have watched “Crossing Over” so many times that that film seems etched in my brain; yet, I watch it again and then I get another piece of the puzzle and think “Wow, the new way of thinking is just breaking in *in* me!”
If we have been in The Iron Age for so long where humanity is at its darkest, and then we round the corner and enter Aquarius (Bronze Age), then isn’t humanity 25% more awakened as we move towards The Golden Age (which is 100% Consciousness!)?

So for many (myself included), 12/21/2012 didn’t bring the explosive and sudden changes we might have anticipated. And as we crossed through this temporal point, many felt let down when comparing what “actually” happened to what we “expected” would happen. But for those who have experienced fallen hearts and disappointments in this disparity – I urge you to take a closer look.
Because of the convergence of scientific and spiritual events piecing together the puzzle of Truth, we can simply look to nature as our guide. When a bud flowers into a blossom, does it happen “instantaneously” – or does it unfold into its self-actualized beingness slowly and gradually?
On the futility of worry and the illusion of control
These ought to be just footnotes to what is really important right now, which is to grasp and understand the depths of your own self, or to grasp and understand the depths of your own experience of reality, the two being one whole truth in experience, but alas, apparently divided and contradictory realities in language and thought. For many, however, these issues are not so much footnotes as the necessary a footbridge to that very problem, because worry and the illusory struggle for control over your reality lies between you and a full understanding, thus a full possession, of either yourself, your life or your reality…

What you seek to control in your life is controlling your life. Haven’t you noticed that?

Worry and try to control…I’d be lying if I said these are tendencies I struggle against. They aren’t. I have learned that it is never, never useful or liberating to worry, and such an insight saves me a vast amount of inner tension and energy. If you can secure this truth for yourself – and the truth demands not just the mental understanding but the experience which affirms it – then worry can begin to fall away: never will you solve the problem of worry if you think the problem is outside of yourself which the worrier always does.

What do you actually control? Do you control the texture, temperature, duration of your experience or your body or your life?Do you control your fine movements? Do you control even a significant portion of the minutia of experience? What do you really control but for the yes or the no, reaction or else the non-reaction? You control nothing but your non-reacting to the world, let me tell you that much for sure.

It’s Christmas this week, and aside from the gifts, gatherings, lights and festivities, this it is a time when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This year, with the timing of the Solstice, the end of the Mayan 4th calendar cycle and the ascension cycle we are completing, Christmas takes on a new meaning as we enter a new era of human consciousness and can fully embrace our Christed Consciousness.
We have seen this from a distances as the Christ consciousness, the ultimate level of which was embodied by the great teacher Jesus Christ during his time on the earth. Christ taught about self empowerment, our ability to have a direct Source connection, the principle of the human as being divine, and of our own power to create miracles, and often said when people were amazed at his abilities, ‘This you can do and more.’ Centuries of religious teachings de-personalized these lessons and led us to believe that we were powerless, unworthy, and not deserving of these abilities. Now everything has changed.
