Isa is the rune of 'standstill'. It is like Winter in the spirit, and as the thaw approaches, the plants are actively working under the earth in preparation for Spring. A very good analogy for the current Spiritual State, to what meets the eye, is when the sap starts to run in the maple syrup farm. Things are 'starting to move' but more 'appreciated' and 'felt' than actually 'seen'.
