A fast-moving storm system struck parts of the Upper Midwest hard on Wednesday evening, delivering blows to Chicago and many other communities before moving quickly to inflict damage farther east.

The Windy City itself experienced gusts that measured about 50 mph around 6 p.m. (7 p.m. ET), in addition to dime-size hail, the National Weather Service's Chicago branch said.

But the question is… are you? It never ceases to amaze me just how in tune we can naturally be, just how easily we can over-think the message, and how the Universe finds ways to amp up the message in ways we finally recognize. I wish I’d taken a photo this morning, but some of you will probably be relieved I didn’t!

Predictions of these times always involved huge waves washing over the planet. Many prophets (or interpreters of prophecies) always assumed this would be one of water. The huge waves are indeed here washing over us only they are waves of Light, they are waves of high frequency energy coming to us from the Sun, from the Centre of our Galaxy and from the part of the cosmos we are currently travelling through.

My thoughts emerge out of my feelings,
Like plants that grow out of the earth.
To find the roots of my happiness,
I must loosen and dig in the dirt.
The report explains the mantra but there is so much more to say! I refer to this week as approaching a set of rapids and that it is time to get ready to ride. What I didn't mention was that this is a time when there can be so much hustle and bustle and busy-ness that you get distracted from the long range intention.... don't let that happen! It is like getting too caught up securing everything down in the boat and getting so absorbed that the rapids sneak up on you and you blew it haha! Keep your eye on the river of life, let the little stuff go and choose your battles wisely..... InJoy!

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – R.I. Education Commissioner Deborah Gist said Wednesday a settlement is expected shortly in response to a federal investigation which found a Providence school violated students' civil rights.

A U.S. Department of Justice probe found disabled students at Providence's Birch Vocational School worked long hours for low wages and were given few, if any, opportunities to integrate into the actual workforce.

The scathing report indicates the closest experience some Birch students were offered to transitioning into the workforce was helping to empty the school’s trash.
