It’s time for some weekend fun! Are you in? There is beautiful energetic support this Saturday, June 8 to spend time at a neighborhood coffee shop, pick up some magazines, catch up with friends, and be intellectually stimulated (or whatever that “weekend fun” recipe is for you). Gemini energy is all about communicating and connecting, sharing book reviews and talking about the latest trends. It’s also a tricky, flexible energy, so be mindful if you are saying ‘just the right thing’ and charming everyone you meet, but with no sincerity or heart in your words.
As you are interacting online or offline, stay mindful of your thoughts. Your specific words. What you say to others, what you say to yourself, and any unexpected things that pop out of your mouth. How your mind works to solve problems or get information. And when you don’t like what you say/hear/think, that’s exactly the moment you get the opportunity to RAISE the energy of your mind and elevate your vibration.
It’s as simple as, “Oh shoot, I don’t want to say/believe that anymore! Instead, I now choose to believe and speak about this as (insert your new awesome thought).”
That’s how you consciously work with your mental energy in the moment, with awareness, and it is one of the supreme gifts of the Gemini New Moon. Every New Moon is a birthing of fresh energy as the Sun and Moon align together at the same point in the sky. Raise the vibration of your thoughts and watch how new magic unfolds (insert cool sound effects).
Gemini is ruled by Mercury, and Mercury is in Cancer, which shifts the energy to being highly mental to being more emotional, intuitive, and flowing. It can also be defensive, very private, and conditional. The emphasis is on speaking from your heart knowing you are always safe and guided when you come from that energy. The heart is an amazing machine and marches on fearlessly every day. Call on that part of you even if you feel a bit reactive or defensive about “that thing they said to you.”
In July, we have a rare Water Grand Trine that harmoniously incorporates Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio energies. We are in the flows of intuitive,emotional energies opening up and being sensitive to what is happening all around us, above the limits of our mental faculties and perceptions. Another way to put it is, we’re all picking up on each other’s “stuff” more than ever, and we have conscious choices about how to react, what to say, and how to proceed ahead. Again, go back to your heart space for the answers because this is where the new magic comes from (insert cool sound effects again).
Now, because I love you, I need to address how there is also tension going on around money struggles (or the perception of) and feeling financially take care of; doing what you want to do without regards for anyone else; and feeling push-back and power struggles internally, externally, or both about your soul’s transformation. All big topics, right!
Also involved in this dynamic are fears around saying what you really feel, not being heard, and perhaps not trusting the words you want to express. Mischievous Mercury and Lovely Venus in Cancer are now in the energy fields of the grand powers of Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury and Venus are fairly naïve planets concerned about their daily needs being met, and then, BAM! Their inner fears come up to meet them and show them what they hadn’t seen before in big, you-can't-miss-it ways.
Here’s the big picture: these energies are intentionally shaking up and shaking out the loose bricks in a wall. If the structure isn’t being built with a solid foundation, it’s better to know sooner than later, right? (“Right.”) And because we’re building and re-designing careers, relationships, life goals, ourselves as we go, it is necessary to shake out the weak parts so stronger ones can be put in. Let the weak bricks be shown to you knowing that the stronger ones will come to you next. (See, that’s the magic in action!)
Remember, everyone on the planet is dealing with these energies, so be kind, be compassionate, be patient, be calm with yourself first. And then spread a little bit of that around when you go out into the world and create a fabulous weekend for yourself.
