AFFIRM: The day is coming. In a few moments, it will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day. And the calm of solitude replaced by the pounding of the human race. Yet, I anchor in the refuge of the early morning that is never invaded by decisions to be made or deadlines to be met and I invite God to be the good of my circumstance all day. To this I commit my day. And so it is. Amen. |
