Was there a UFO at Friday night's London Olympics fireworks display, or has the flying object been identified as the Goodyear Blimp? That's the question being debated online today by many denizens of the Internet. No one is disputing whether the Goodyear Blimp was present during the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics. The question is whether the UFO spotted flying among the fireworks and the Goodyear Blimp were one and the same.
To be specific, if the Olympics UFO actually was a blimp, it was the The Goodyear-Airship "Spirit of Europe II" with its safety lights turned off and its Goodyear advertising banner removed. The Goodyear-Airship "Spirit of Europe II" is a small, non-rigid airship, or Type A-60 blimp. Such blimps measure 130 feet in length, 34 feet in width and 44 feet in height. They are illuminated internally by two 1,000 watt lamps.

it looks pretty obvious
the blimp looks like a blimp and the ufo looks like a ufo. the main difference is the blimp has flashing aviation lights that are mandatory for identified aircraft. and the ufo appears to not have these flashing lights. once this blimp thing is debunked, it'll be fun to see what the next cover up theory will be. how about a levitating fire ball or a ufo shaped air balloon? but we all can think what we think anyway.
it looks like individuated perspective is based on the boundaries of our comfort bubbles.

It funny I think alien still learning ..GY-unit finish year ago last time I saw Goodyear was over Daytona race 500 ..15 year or more ..this isn't America BLIMP never or detect Until Now ..what ever its ..sure has same Illustration since 1986 same Blimp kinda funny, remind me of those small Grey still learning human nature ..guess we still gotta give them a show ..Olympic 2012 was fun for them ..they are still children, don't under estimate them, Fun and love it what they need ..their many out there?.

Trust me, I hoped it was a UFO but it is a blimp. It irritstes me because people like u and that is why the UFO community are discredited and looked at as kooks. who are so quick to call everything a ufo. I have a friend at the Olympics. He said the blimp was flying over the whole night.
