The Full Moon is Thursday, March 8 at 2:41 AM Mountain Standard Time. This full moon is a perfect opportunity to make a plan and commit to taking some action towards manifesting. Start with a fresh plan even if it has elements of a plan from the past. What is it that you want right now at this moment for yourself? How are you going to get there? You do not need to know all the steps, just the first one. Beware of the tendency to look towards others to do it for you. There is no power in that. This is a time to make your own bid for power. Spirit is certainly listening and if your bid is from the heart and not from ego, and if you are ready for it, it will happen sooner than you can imagine. Remember to practice patience as all things come in their own time. Take action but don't micromanage!

Full Moon: Sun in Pisces, Moon in Virgo 18º

There's a lot to work with this month with the Virgo Full Moon preceding by a few days the Mercury retrograde of March 12, then the dynamic rebirth energy of Vernal Equinox with the Sun entering 0º Aries on March 19/20 with the New Moon in Aries two days later. These are powerful energy currents to ride.
We have one of those exalted charts where a Grand Trine shares a corner with a Grand Square emitting dynamic and powerful ley lines into our lives and creating choice points - do you want to be on top of the wave or under the wave? The Grand Trine is considered a gift - energy flows smoothly, the planets work well together, no conflict only harmonious energies. The Trine consists of all three Earth signs ~ Mars, our take-action planet is in Virgo with the Full Moon; Jupiter, our generous, big-picture planet, is in Taurus with Venus (they're having a good time), and Pluto, our shamanic, shadow-side transformer is in Capricorn. We have an opening for bringing all the high frequency energy bombarding us and our planet down into assimilation on the earthy physical planes.
We can nourish and support our bodies especially our digestion, improve our home environments and daily habits/routines with organization and planning, take care of details and align our service and work energies more to our hearts. We can take more pleasure in the simple things in life like absorbing the power available to us from Nature, enjoying our social interactions, appreciating our sensual experiences more fully and focusing on our financial well-being. Pluto, happily in the company of his Earth brothers, is less likely to go for our darkest, secret places and more inclined to self-regeneration and revitalization and taking our experiences to a deeper, more powerful place than we have experienced before. A Grand Trine is a wonderful cosmic kiss.
Simultaneously, the mutable signs, Virgo, Pisces (Earth, Water) and Gemini, Sagittarius (Air, Fire) are all in a Grand Square formation. Mars in Virgo squares the North/South Nodes and Pallas Athena, Chiron and Neptune in Pisces also square the North/South Nodes currently in Sagittarius/Gemini. Mars square the Nodes has the quality of crisis emerging from excessive energy, aggression, anger, force (or the threat of it) - restlessness and impatience and frustration. Mars is in a very mental sign - Virgo, so we need to come into alliance with our thoughts, our discriminatory judgments, our perfectionistic, critical and controlling ways. If these qualities are presented to you in this Full Moon period in yourself or through others, you have a growth opportunity available to you. Your inner Warrior is seeking the light and asking what is your heart's work?
Pallas Athena as goddess of wisdom governs a range of areas including creative intelligence, the arts and artisans, healing powers, justice and protector of the political body, and the craft and skill involved in professional standards. Some say, she is the yin symbol to Uranus' yang symbol of raising consciousness and increasing awareness of high frequency influences. Here, Pallas Athena involved in a Grand Square aligned with Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, she brings emphasis to the qualities of wisdom through merging with the muse that brings us poetry, music that transports us, gaining knowledge through entering the illusionary world of film and finding healing through shamanic work, dreams, guided imagery. Meditation and devotional spiritual practices will also ease the lessons when the nodes are challenged by squaring planets that reveal the areas where we are stretching to grow and where our karmic backpacks insist on spilling their entire contents into the whole room.
Because we have a Virgo Full Moon, we have to look to Mercury, the ruling planet and see how this fleet-footed androgynous one is situated. Mercury is traveling in exact alignment with Vesta, Keeper of the Eternal Flame of the Sacred Temple, the Vestal Virgin in the tradition of ‘onto themselves' - not violated, not depleted- their kundalini/sexual energy their own to gather and concentrate and move upward for spiritual practice and sacred ceremony. Focus and commitment to a higher purpose or work is emphasized with Vesta (often considered a ruler of Virgo). With a trine from the already active North Node, point of growth, and a square from Pluto in Capricorn to Vesta/Mercury, we are being asked to focus and commit our thinking processes towards what is truly important in our lives and stretching and breaking out of the molds that hold us in limitation, a time to dream boldly of what we desire beyond the imaginary border of 2012. New frontiers (Uranus, Vesta, Mercury in Aries) await those who grasp the principles of creating using the quantum field as ally pulling what you want from the universe with your magnetic thoughts. Practice focusing your mind to expand consciousness and eliminating mental energy leaks.
The Spring or Vernal Equinox, one of the four major power points of the year, marks the Sun's entry into 0º Aries - equal day, equal night. Mars retrograde motion will keep The Grand Trine/Grand Square configuration spoken of for Full Moon active through the Equinox of the 19th-20th and beyond to New Moon in Aries on March 22nd.
