How crazy are things getting in our upside down world?
How crazy are they getting outside our front doors and even in our homes?
Dare we even venture out and take a look?
We might get arrested for walking on our lawns or for not mowing them, or mowing them too often for that matter. Take down that lemonade stand immediately and go to the town offices for a permit or be fined!
Maybe we are driving a car that is too big or too small
or it doesn’t drink up as much gasoline as it should.
Keep those leaves raked up and hauled away or be fined, and your chickens need to be in the pen out back or most likely, can not be there at all! Do not sell their eggs or give them to your neighbors or homeless shelters without an inspection and permit! Even our back yards may not be safe!
Your garden may be way too big and grow too many vegetables or maybe you shouldn’t grow a garden at all. Buy your food.
Certainly don’t share your harvest with the homeless people, or offer it to others at your party, especially if it’s uncooked!
Did you get a permit for that patio grill you just installed?
Don’t touch that bird that fell out of its nest or try to save it.
You might go to jail for harboring an endangered species.
Craziest of all, inside our homes may not be safe either!
That new smart meter is watching you and your thermostat is way too high and your tv has been on too long and you must turn off those lights, they’ve been on too many hours as well.
We may not be eating the correct amount of calories each day or the milk we drink might be raw versus over cooked and dead.
The tee-shirt you are wearing may be inappropriate to wear, or you spanked your child and now you are a registered sex offender.
For sure hide that pot well, despite the fact it eases your pain because you are dying of cancer, and get rid of those supplements, they tend to make you healthier than you are allowed to be.
Have you ever wondered when we will all rise up and say NO WAY!
Get off my front lawn, stay out of my back lawn, and most of all stay out of my home and out of my life!
When my friends, is enough? I’d say enough is enough was way back at the front door! Don’t ever open it or the rest will soon follow in behind until the prison door bangs shut and you can’t get out!
