All men desire to discover for themselves, with certainty, what is the purpose of life. This discovery can only be made by living and not by mere intellectual theorizing. After the discovery of that purpose they can work for it one-pointedly. But to do this they must be rid of all philosophies, dogmas, creeds, religions, particular rites -everything, because no one can, for a single moment, discover his true purpose in life, or life itself, with all these encumbrances. When man has completely detached himself from all unessential things, he can begin to discover what it is that he is seeking. It is as an individual, that he must make the discovery.

Each man is seeking to free himself from sorrow. Desire is life, and that desire is constantly battling against limitations. It seeks to be free. In search for happiness it is constantly breaking away from limitations.

Modern prisoners occupy the lowest rungs on the social class ladder, and they always have. The modern prison system (along with local jails) is a sort of ghetto or poorhouse reserved primarily for the unskilled, the uneducated, the powerless and, in increasing numbers it is being reserved for racial minorities, especially blacks, which is why we are calling this system the New American Apartheid.  This is the same segment of American society that have seen their incomes drastically reduced and have become more involved in drugs and the subsequent violence that extends from the lack of legitimate means of goal attainment (Fowles and Merva, 1996).

The news: One hundred children orphaned by the Syrian civil war could find a home in Uruguayan President José "Pepe" Mujica's summer retreat, "a mansion and riverfront estate surrounded by rolling pastures," according to Yahoo News. That would be a welcome sight for any of the hundreds of thousands of refugees displaced by Syria's political turmoil. 

To what end do you try to keep up with everyone else? You are you and not someone else. Of course, I am speaking in terms of the world, for, in truth, everyone you compare or contrast yourself with is you. On Earth, your individuality and personality are stellar.
 
There is no reason for you to follow everyone else, to attempt to, or attempt not to. Just be.
 
You don’t have to be an athlete or a scholar or anything else at all. All you have to do is to be you. There is no reason to sidetrack yourself. I want to say that what you desire to be, you already are, yet that doesn’t quite work for you. Perhaps you want to be a movie star, and you aren’t. Yet you are a life star. You are certainly the star of your life. Whatever you desire to be in the world, you are, beloveds, much more than that.
 
How dear you are to Me as you sally forth in the world. You forget your keys, or you forget the directions to where you are going. You may even forget where you are going, and, yet, just the same, you sally forth. You sally forth on a mission from Me. You may have forgotten. You most likely have forgotten. When you get to where you are going, you will remember. You will know the route you took, and you will be glad to be where you are. You will, after all, see clearly where you are and who you are and what you mean to Me and to the world.
 
Right now, you can know your value. You can know your earthly value and your value on a larger scale, the value that you don’t quite recognize or count on. You are spectacular. You are one spectacular human being. I made you as you are meant to be. I meant you to shine in the glory I made you of. How to excel is simply by being yourself.

If you were to wake up, every day, and surrender to being of your highest service, you would be choosing to live your day from a place of alignment, love and unity. You would find yourself being presented with wonderful opportunities to make a difference, and you would have the peace of knowing that you had beautifully assisted the whole at the end of the day, regardless of how the day unfolded.

Dear Ones, service doesn’t have to be grandiose to make a difference. In so many instances simply holding your highest vibration is the most profound and helpful thing you can do to support the whole. It is choosing to live in a heart-centered and loving way that brings magic and joy to all the things you do and experience. ~Archangel Gabriel
