THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES

You may find yourself on an awakening journey, and can relate to having felt similar to Neo in the movie The Matrix. When Neo is meeting Morpheus, Morpheus tells him:  “What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad…You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically, that’s not far from the truth”.  Neo decides to take the red pill, making the choice to see reality for what it is.

So waking up is a double edged sword.

You have been kissed by the lips of God and now are lead to feel the omnipresence, the omnipotence, of the Universal power Of the One True Nature. Nirvana. You may even have implemented latent psychic abilities and spiritual intuition on your path.

Fast forward:  You now acutely see that the emperor has no clothes.  The awake individual sees the insane people all around him.  From his viewpoint, everyone is delusional.  Yes.  It began as you felt something was wrong while looking at the emperor, and the crowd behaving wildly.  You sensed something was fishy.  You climb up a tree to get a better look.  Suddenly, it becomes immediately clear the Emperor is butt naked.

Another ‘Pole of Cold’ Discovered? The Case of Orlovka, Kazakhstan

Orlovka, Kazakhstan

A new potential cold pole has been discovered, it's a remote and almost universally unknown village called Orlovka, located in the extreme eastern part of Kazakhstan near the border of Mongolia. Orlovka is sandwiched between mountains in a deep valley at 1,100 m (3,600‘) elevation.

Perhaps someone or a group just isn’t what you think they ought to be. Perhaps you think they ought to dress the way you dress or speak as you believe they should speak. How, may I ask, are you supposed to be?

 

Are you the decider of what another ought to be like? I ask you, did someone declare you the World’s Foremost Authority?! Not I! Then, in this case, it must be that you appointed yourself. Beloved, how many asked you for your sense of what is du jour and how many did not ask you?

For over a year now we have been busy building our bridge to the new world. It has been a monumental task but we have stuck with it and hammered away with great determination. It is finished now and the only thing left for us to do is cross over it. Do we have the courage to leave the old world behind and put all of our trust into the new world? Do we dare cross over into forbidden territory and claim it for our own? Have we finally finished listening to the dark ones fearful diatribes and instead prefer to listen to the beautiful music drifting over from the other side? Are we done with the ‘buts’ of why we cannot move forward? Are we done with the thousands of excuses of why we are unable to cross over? Are we willing at long last to shake off the fears constantly being heaped upon us and say no more, I’m crossing over? Well I have news for you, we are already in the new world! We have already crossed that bridge.

Extreme jet stream causing record warmth in the east, record cold in the west

Los Angeles, California recorded its coldest temperature in 22 years on Sunday, and record daily lows fell across large portions of the Western U.S. over the weekend. But meanwhile, much of the Eastern U.S. basked in record-breaking warmth, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s in New York. What's going on? Well, the jet stream--the upper level river of strong winds that marks the boundary between cold, Arctic air to the north and warm, subtropical air to the south--has worked itself into a very extreme configuration.

 

The jet is diving far to the south over the Western U.S., creating a U-shaped trough of low pressure that allows cold air to spill southwards out of Canada. The 34°F reading on Sunday morning in Los Angeles was the coldest temperature there since December 23, 1990. (The lowest temperature ever recorded in downtown Los Angeles was 28°F, most recently on January 4, 1949.) The -20°F observed at Grand Canyon, Arizona on Sunday morning tied for the coldest temperature measured there in 37 years of record keeping.

 

Heavy snow causes travel disruption across Britain

Heavy snow fell across much of Britain today, causing travel disruption on roads, railways and at airports.

Much of Britain woke up to snow this morning as the country remains on high alert for dangerous weather conditions.

Thousands of motorists had to be rescued after breaking down, with the AA reporting a further 23 call-outs to cars stuck in the snow, weather-related speed restrictions were imposed in East Anglia, and more than 30 flights were cancelled out of Heathrow Airport.

Forecasters said eastern parts of the country could experience a further 10cm (4ins) of snow throughout the rest of the day and warned that freezing conditions overnight could cause serious problems with icy roads tomorrow.
