"The problem here has been with the flooding from the swells that have come in from the south. So we have a situation with extremely dry drought up north, and extremely wet floods down south. Very weird weather."

Signs Of Change The Past Week Or So June 2013 Part 2

HawkeyDavisChannel - 6/18/13

This video captures Earth Changes for the last week or so. One interesting thing about this video was the comment left by a viewer.

Most of this does not get mainstream media. I know a lot of folks talk about the end times and the Rapture, Revelation and see the world from a Biblical Literalist view. That is fine but this is a time when true followers of Light and truth must dig deep in their souls and live the words of the Master and be the hope and medicine that the world needs. True religion is not dogma or theology or prescribed path to heaven. It is the daily practice of kindness. Just saying, peace to all.

A budding subduction zone offshore of Spain heralds the start of a new cycle that will one day pull the Atlantic Ocean seafloor into the bowels of the Earth, a new study suggests.

Understanding how subduction zones start is long-lasting mystery in plate tectonics, said lead study author João Duarte, a research fellow at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

NOAA, partners predict possible record-setting dead zone for Gulf of Mexico

Dead zone.

Less oxygen dissolved in the water is often referred to as a “dead zone” (in red above) because most marine life either dies, or, if they are mobile such as fish, leave the area. Habitats that would normally be teeming with life become, essentially, biological deserts.

Scientists are expecting a very large “dead zone” in the Gulf of Mexico and a smaller than average hypoxic level in the Chesapeake Bay this year, based on several NOAA-supported forecast models.

New Subduction Zone Forms Off Coast Of Portugal

Desert Gypsy's picture

Science Daily- 6/18/13.

A new subduction zone forming off the coast of Portugal heralds the beginning of a cycle that will see the Atlantic Ocean close as continental Europe moves closer to America.

The incipient subduction in the Iberian zone could signal the start of a new phase of the Wilson Cycle - where plate movements supercontinents break up, like Pangaea, and open oceans, stabilize and then form new subduction zones close Which the oceans and bring the scattered continents back together.

This break-up and reformation of supercontinents has happened at least three times, on more than four billion years, on Earth. The Iberian subduction will Gradually pull Iberia towards the United States over Approximately 220 million years.
