It's What You Do With It
It is not what happens to each of us that determines how much we enjoy life, but rather our reaction to what happens. Though we may have no choice in unexpected events that happen to us, we most certainly have choice in how we interpret what happens, and in what we choose to do about it. We can always choose to be either a victim or a creator. This key choice makes all the difference in how much joy we experience in life.
Neither does what we own play a major role in how much we enjoy life. One person with all the money and possessions in the world may have a miserable life, while another in the lowest income bracket may absolutely love their life. It is what we do with what we own that affects our level of satisfaction and joy in life. It's not what you possess or what happens to you in life that matters, but rather what you do with it.
Today we would like to focus your attention on the topic of Heaven. Many of you have various ingrained beliefs about Heaven. Your religions teach you that it is a place that you will go to after you die, only if you are found to be deserving of it. We are here to tell you that you are all deserving and you certainly don’t have to wait until you die before you reach Heaven. You see where we feel the misunderstanding lies is that many are under the impression that Heaven is a place when in fact it really is a state of mind. You certainly can reach Heaven while you are here in this physical incarnation. You do not have to wait until you leave your physical body in order to experience the heavenly realms.
Let us explain further what we mean when we say that Heaven is a state of mind[ Heart Consciousness], not necessarily a place. Now we realize that this may bring up many fears with in some of you as you read this because you have placed so much faith and expectation in Heaven the “place”; but bare with us as we explain what we mean from our perspective. You see Heaven can be where ever you find yourselves at any given “time”.

At first glance, Felix Finkbeiner does not seem cut from the cloth with which celebrity is fashioned.
While some adolescent boys can induce hysterical adulation in young girls, Felix, 13, is no Justin Bieber. His stringbean physique is complemented by a pair of wire-rimmed glasses and a pudding-bowl haircut. And yet, on a wet Sunday afternoon in southern Germany, he finds himself besieged by a gaggle of young female devotees.
'I really like Felix,’ one delighted 11-year-old, Emilia Georgiev, says, beaming as she shows off his autograph.
Felix is neither child actor, pop star, nor sports prodigy. Instead, Emilia and girls like her want him to sign their copy of his book, Tree by Tree. Felix, from the unremarkable town of Pöcking, near Munich, is an environmental superstar at the helm of a global network of child activists whose aim is to mitigate climate change by reforesting the planet. Behind his apparently unprepossessing facade, Felix is really an action hero. No wonder he gets the girls.
His organisation, Plant for the Planet, recently achieved its target of planting one million trees in Germany; now, Felix is spreading his message around the world. Plant for the Planet is up and running in 131 countries, and the British chapter was established last month, with the aim of planting a million trees here over the next few years. Individuals or planting groups can either 'pledge’ to plant a certain number of trees or make a cash donation – €1 buys one tree.
Beloved one, we have been speaking of realities, of dimensions, of the holograms you make for yourself to experience. We have been speaking of how you have constructed for yourself within this reality concepts and boxes, boxes with labels, where you have felt as a collective consciousness there was a certainty, a security within that box, and yet at the same time you have wanted to push out the sides of the box because you felt that there must be something more.
You are at a most wonderful place now where you are bridging 3rd dimensional perspective, because you understand world perspective, you know what the brothers and sisters are feeling. You have been there. You have felt it yourself. And there are many times when you cry unto the heavens and you would like to see something changed. Then you take the deep breath and you bridge to the 5th dimension, for a moment or so, into the divine peace of Allness.
October brings us to the season of harvest and balance. Also, in this time of the Libra sun, we are reminded of the teachings of the Egyptian goddess Maat. As a deity of justice, she rules fair dealings, honesty and truthfulness in social interactions. Goddess Maat embraces all aspects of existence, including the basic equilibrium of the universe and the cycle of the seasons.
We have many planetary shifts this month; Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Saturn all change signs, which is a sure marker of shifting energies and engaging a new focus.

For now, let us say that Source has placed you in this playground called planet Earth and said, “Play here.” And it doesn’t matter what kind of play you choose to engage in. “Play here” is the sum of what is expected of you.
Welcome. October looks set to be a month of cosmic twists and turns as new waves of insights reach deeply into the collective consciousness stirring up powerful shifts and realisations, both personally and collectively. Layer upon layer of ‘stuff’ is being stripped back now enabling each of us to feel a stronger and clearer connection within and to our true priorities in life. It seems that the most important and significant shifts are occurring deeply within, right at the core of our beings, as we awaken to living more consciously and ‘in-tune’ with our own Divinity and to the interconnectedness of all there is.
It can be hard to quantify such shifts in words, for many are subtle and many are beyond words and without any vocabulary to give them justice. And yet, we are still aware of them, and despite them feeling beyond definition, in a way this doesn’t matter, for it is just by being aware of them that we are opening up to the full spectrum of shift and change that is happening, both within, and without.

The darkness that has engulfed us is one of ignorance: we have ignored the really important stuff and failed to connect the dots that would reveal important answers to the the BIG question: What's it all about? A modern adage reveals a clue: follow the money. People are finally starting to do that; and what we are finding is not a pretty picture. It is one of abject poverty of spiritual values. Corruption is everywhere. People have lost contact with what really matters; and what really matters is sustainability. Can human culture be sustained when there is a lack of compassion and an unequal distribution of resources? The right answer is: NO! As the lights come on, truth becomes known.

Commentary By Stephen: This story gives a whole new meaning to the song “Do You Know The Way to ‘San José’?”… for it seems the people of Uruguay certainly do.
Apparently, their President, José Mujica, is following in the footsteps of JFK and J Edgar Hoover – and not pocketing his entire salary for self.
What a shame all the world’s leaders and, importantly, the CEOs, Chairpersons, Directors and senior executives of all the leading multinationals (who earn well beyond what any world leader ever could earn in a lifetime in politics) aren’t as unity conscious – yet. But they will be soon.
Meanwhile, I am happy to worship this “San José” – but then he wouldn’t want that either. Thanks to Geoffrey West.
Powerful energies over the weekend and during the night Sunday into Monday with the arrival of the "new year", Oct. 1. Did you feel it, too? "It" woke each of my daughters up at different times in the night -- they looked cheerful and entirely too awake, like Christmas morning. They eventually went back to sleep, phew!
This morning (when it was actually time to wake) my 3D Sun iPhone App messaged that a significant geomagnetic storm had transpired during the night/early a.m. of Oct. 1. Confirmation can be so fun! I felt great today and hope you did as well.
We have now entered the last quarter of 2012—the year in which Gaia and her inhabitants are divinely scheduled to ascend to higher consciousness. Are we ready?
I opened my The Way of Love Blog for the purpose of assisting in this preparation process. Below are the first two blogs in which I described our predominant level of conscious awareness as it stood in July 2009.
Have we awakened to all the lies we are repeatedly fed? Are we approaching December 2012 with a greater desire to assist in making our world a better place through spreading unconditional love? Have we learned to walk a mile in the other’s shoes before judging and condemning them? Do we continue to cling to old ideologies that create separation, not cooperation? Do we still boost our own personality egos by making another group less-than?
"Independence for Catalonia? Over my dead body… and those of many soldiers." That was how Francisco Alaman reacted to the 1.5 million strong demonstration in Barcelona last month, with many calling for independence for the region.
It's a view. Quite strongly held not just on the right in Spain but on the centre left. However Alaman is a serving soldier: a colonel. And it wasn't the only incendiary thing he said.
In the week tens of thousands of protesters surrounded parliament, he told the website Alerta Digital:
"The current situation is very similar to 1936, but without blood. Unfortunately, the data indicate that the situation will only get worse in the coming months and years."
