Ginger is Better than Drugs for Pain, says Study

A new study published in the journal Arthritis compared ginger extract to the common drugs betamethasone (cortisone) and ibuprofen for the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

While ibuprofen is a popular pain remedy (such as Advil or Motrin), in this study it showed no effect on cytokine production. Cytokines are immune-regulating substances that can have inflammatory effects on the body, and are therefore linked to pain. In this study, both betamethasone and ginger extract reduced cytokines in comparable amounts. The authors of the study indicate that,n “ginger extract was as effective an anti-inflammatory agent as betamethasone in this in vitro model.”

“Hello, I love you, won’t you tell me your name” has been playing in my mind on-and-off for the past few weeks. It is one of those song lyrics that easily circles around in your head for hours until you realize you’re saying the words aloud in a busy grocery store aisle. There are worst things to say to strangers, right?

 

So I asked my awesome Divine Support Team, “What’s up with this song message, amigos!” And they said it’s coming through because I’m meeting new parts of myself that I haven’t seen before and grounding these qualities into my energy field. A new self-definition is taking root and forming on quantum levels.

Many of you may be in chaos at the moment as the life that you have always thought that you lived begins to dissolve and the life that you wish to create and live begins to anchor. The space between the two is often where most people fall into anxiety for the timing of one ending and one beginning is not always immediate.

Many people have “expected” the new earth to unfold immediately ignoring the need to balance the inner in order to balance the outer, for the outer waking human life experience is always a reflection of you in truth.

What you believe, what you anchor then appears in your outer waking human life experience for you create each moment of each moment. The unwaivering trust and faith in self may be challenging to anchor when the chaos takes hold and all that you recognise as life on planet earth begins to dissolve around you and through you.

TOUCHING HEAVEN -  LYRICS OF THE LAWN

 

 

 

 

 

The energies were so intense this morning that I decided to mow my lawn, hoping to ground with Mother Gaia. Well worth the effort it would take to pull the mower out of the shed, I thought. We have a push type- power wheel mower; so its not  really a lot of work, mostly just pleasant walking.

 As I mowed, I began to wonder if the grass enjoyed being mowed. I know I don't really like to mow, but it looks lovely when its done. The birds were singing, the grass a emerald green, the river shining back the reflections of the clouds and sun. The mower and I made our runs in a state of total gratitude! It was then, in that moment of now, that I heard the grass singing through my feet!
