Disseminating Moon Phase - Moon in Virgo/Libra

Mercury makes a square to Uranus today and this means we want to take care with what we say to others.  Things come out of our mouths before thinking.  Knee-jerk responses are common.  Usually this aspect brings out things that are just under the surface, waiting to be heard.  Some people will take this to the extreme and use intimidation.  We have the added influence of still being in the Disseminating Moon phase - the time of the lunar month when we are directed to share our thoughts, feelings, and ideas with others.  Unexpected news or disclosures are possible.  Communication is the highlight today, but everything needs to be softened up and nurtured.  This energy has harsh effects.  We can moderate this with simplicity and getting back to basics.  Show you care or show your affection if faced with a harsh circumstance.

1. This video of a Labrador puppy who can't stop licking his/her cat friend is RIDICULOUSLY CUTE.

2. The couple is called Moss and Tony. Going by the other videos in this series, we have deduced that Tony is the cat and Moss, his (or her?) unrequited lover.

3. Did we already mention that this video is RIDICULOUSLY CUTE?!

NASA sees a struggling post-Tropical Storm Freda affecting New Caledonia

Tropical Storm Freda may no longer be a tropical storm, but as a low pressure area it is bringing rainfall and gusty winds to New Caledonia. Two NASA satellites captured two different looks at the storm.

Wind shear has punched Freda down to tropical storm status on Jan. 1 and weakened it to a remnant low pressure area on Jan. 2. NASA's Aqua satellite showed strong thunderstorms were over New Caledonia early on Jan. 2, while NASA's Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) satellite peered under the hood of Freda's clouds and measured some moderate to heavy rainfall the day before.

high and tie records in 2012

It’s not yet official, but 2012 was the hottest year in American history. Recorded history, that is; we’ll allow climate change deniers the possibility that the United States was hotter when it was a still-forming Pangeal mass of semi-solid lava. Beyond that, though: hottest ever.

WATERLOO -- The new year will start with an annual light show, at least for those sturdy enough to brave some fairly intense cold.

The Quadrantids, a prolific meteor shower already under way, likely will peak Thursday evening or early Friday, and most of North America should offer prime viewing.

HeavenLetters

God said:

Beknighted are you who stand in the world unafraid. You know that you are One, and you know you are alone never. You more than know in Whose arms you are. It is your experience. You know there is a God of Love, not in abstract, but firmly within you. You are no longer under the illusion of terror. Now you live in the Truth of Love. Now there are no impediments to the free-flowing river of love. There are no impediments.

The impediments that exist in life in the world are named emotions such as fear, anger, panic, grief, one triggering another, emotions projected, and their contractual occurrences of fighting, hurting, and damage. Such emotions and their consequences bury your heart. Love, the love which is beyond emotion, brings peace, understanding, resiliency, trust, fun, joy, and union.
