I write books for people that are willing to change, those that will go on and on relentlessly. Millions want to sit and be a Buddhist, it pleases them and why would I argue with that?

Others want to deny the dark, it helps them feel safer I’m okay with that; still others find solace in religions and churches, that’s a good thing. And billions have no interest in spirituality they want to get laid, eat steak, and make enough money to a get a new dishwasher.

It is all to do with the force of will.

Storms lash Italy's centre and north

ROME, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Heavy rains have caused flooding, landslides and other damage throughout Italy, officials say.

Italy's Massa Carrara province received almost 10 inches of rainfall between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday to Sunday, the Agenzia Giornalistica Italia reported.

6.5 magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Guatemala

November 12, 2012 – GUATEMALA – A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck this afternoon in the Pacific off the western coast of Guatemala, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. Striking about 17 miles (27 kilometers) below sea level, the tremor was centered about 19 miles west-southwest of Champerico, Guatemala, and 115 miles from the capital, Guatemala City. The quake was not far from southern Mexico, with the USGS reporting it was 27 miles south-southeast of the border community of Suchiate, Mexico.

 

Earlier Sunday, the U.S. agency had said it was a 6.2-magnitude tremor, but later revised the report with the higher magnitude. It was followed by a number of significant aftershocks with magnitudes as strong as 5.0. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that “based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected.” Sunday’s earthquake is the second major one in four days to strike the region. The quake triggered at least four strong aftershocks.

November 11, 2012 – MYANMAR – A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck a mountainous region near Mandalay, Myanmar early Sunday morning. The earthquake had a depth of 9.8 km (6.1 miles) and struck just 116 miles from Mandalay, Myanmar. The earthquake was downgraded by the USGS from a 7.0 event. A strong earthquake struck northern Myanmar on Sunday, with local media reporting that five people were killed.

 

Scattered damage and injuries also were reported in areas close to the quake’s epicenter.. Residents from Mandalay, the second biggest commercial city in central Myanmar, told Reuters that they felt a very strong tremor. “I’ve never felt such a strong tremor. I also heard some loud noises and the light went out. No idea about the damage,” a resident said. The earthquake was followed by a strong series of aftershocks and low-level tsunami warnings went out for the Indian Ocean. -TEP

(NaturalNews) Regular readers know that Natural News has been closely watching a situation in Portland, Ore., where city officials are pushing to add dangerous fluoride to the water.

City officials in Portland have done everything they can – openly and behind closed doors – to force residents of both the city and the surrounding area to accept fluoridation, though the citizenry has obviously been getting along just fine without it.

A similar battle was being waged much further east, in Wichita, Kan., but the voters there put a stake through the heart of that effort on Election Day, voting to reject fluoridation of that city’s water supply.
