Hurricane, tornado and blizzard - we use these terms all the time in weather, but have you ever wondered how they came to describe each particular phenomenon?

After searching through various NOAA websites and the American Meteorological Society weather glossary, we've come up with seven weather-related terms and how they originated. We begin with hurricane, which has its roots in mythology.

Heaven Letters

God said:

There is much that you accept in others in the world. There is also much you do not accept.

You accept that others can be taller or shorter than you. You do not hold it against them. You accept that someone across from you may be a man or a woman. You do not start a war over it, large or small. You accept that someone is young or someone is old. You accept that, in the world you live in, there is age, regardless of your preference.

Yet, when someone may vote for another president, you are in an uproar. If someone may be in another religion from you, you cluck your tongue. Wars have been started. As soon as you think one way is the best, then you eliminate a lot of other ways. You become exclusive in your thinking. You purse your lips.

Humanity is continuing unfalteringly on its path to awakening.  Many of you have a vision or intuitive image of your destination which helps you enormously because it gives you a point of focus, an aiming point, thus enabling you to strengthen your intent to keep moving forward.  Your whole lives are a process of moving forward towards your divine destiny, which, up until the arrival of this New Age, was a process that was very frequently interrupted by distractions on the earth plane that drew you into confusion and conflict.  These distractions, while still present, now have far less power to engage you, because you are now able to rise above them and from this new vantage point identify them for what they are.

It seems so hard at times, like we are all alone in the darkness trying to shine our light out to those around us. It is so important to remember when we long for like-minded people to be a part of our world,  often we end up in dark corners specifically, because our light is needed. While it is far easier to be around like- minded beings, if we were all to enjoy that comfort, no one would be left to shine the light in the dark corners. We took on this mission knowing at times we may be alone doing our jobs and sometimes feeling very alienated from others. Find your strength within to continue on anyway, for our light is needed most in the darkest places.
